5 people were in the building, and one of them did not come out. Everyone stood on a different square, one to a row and one to a column, on the 5 by 5 plan. Work out where each of them was, the victim included. Whoever was alone with the victim did it.

Good to know

Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
