Put someone down
Pick a person, the victim too, and tap a square to put them there, or drag someone from a card or a name onto the plan. Their row and column are crossed off for you. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
The cards
The tick crosses off a clue you have used.
- Theo
He was sitting on a bench on the tent field.
- Priya
She was in the bottom row.
She was not standing in a puddle.
She was east of the cook.
- Arun
He was in a different room from Felix.
- Rosa
She was in a corner of the woods.
She was with Felix in the woods.
- Felix
He was north of Arun.
He was west of Rosa.
- the cook
The victim. He was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- North of someone: in a higher row, in any column. The same goes for south, east and west.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
