Delete your Whodunit Online account

Whodunit Online, the website and the Android app, is made by 771Labs. You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time. It happens at once and cannot be undone.

In the app

Open Whodunit Online, go to Me and sign in if you are not signed in already. Choose Delete account and confirm.

On the website

Sign in at whodunitonline.com/account. At the bottom of the page, under Delete account, type DELETE and press Delete my account.

If you can no longer sign in

Email [email protected] from the address your account uses and ask us to delete it. We do it within 30 days and let you know when it is done.

What is deleted

Everything that belongs to your account: your name, email address and password, your sessions, the cases in your library, your solved cases, streak and badges, and your credits. It goes at once, with no waiting period.

What is kept

If you ever bought something, the record of that purchase is kept, without your name or email address, for as long as bookkeeping rules require (ten years at most).

Clubs and live rounds are not part of an account. You leave a club in the club itself; a club nobody uses for 90 days disappears with everything in it, and names in a live round are removed after 30 days.

Erasing only part of your data

Without an account, your progress, notes and the cases you make stay on your phone. In the app you erase them with Me, then Erase my data. Want a shared link taken down, or something else removed without closing your account? Email [email protected].
